G.Skill has introduced Falcon, a new series of solid state disks that use the Indilinx BareFoot controller with a 64MB DRAM buffer. These disks offer read speeds of up to 230MB/s and write speeds of up to 190MB/s. Details about random write performance is unknown, but it could be pretty good considering this SSD uses the same controller as the OCZ Vertex. The G.Skill Falcon will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities.
